WED 9/15: CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP ($2 UNLIMITED WINE)

"Writhing" begins at 6:30 at Proteus Gowanus and runs for two hours. It'll cost you $5 or $2.50 an hour. Free wine for $2 a glass. AND ALSO: On Saturday 9.18 at 7 Proteus Gowanus presents POETRY FROM PARADISE a poetry reading, organized by Erik Schurink of this list, on the theme of its current show, paradise. The place will be packed with poets and poetry lovers, and the Writhing Society will lead off the evening with a collaborative nine-stanza sestina we're still sweating to finish. $5 to get in the door and $2 a glass for wine.
