Friedrich Kunath: The Temptation To Exist (May Contain Nuts)

Friedrich Kunath's The Temptation to Exist (May Contain Nuts) at Andrea Rosen Gallery closes tomorrow, April 26th. So, if you don't have anything planned for your Saturday afternoon make your way over to Chelsea to see this beauty. Kunath's paintings are whimsical and ethereal, yet equally as serious and stoic, his landscapes reminding me of the Hudson River School. The show "marks a notable evolution in Friedrich Kunath’s practice into a matured exploration of abstraction, interior sensation, and oppositional relationships that propel emotional experience."
